How do Bill and Ted, A guy named Robert, Saban Productions and Abraham Lincoln all collectively equal THE MIGHT MORPHIN POWER RANGERS? ………well if I told you then it wouldn’t be clickbait. Obviously I gotta be enigmatic and ominous, build up the suspense a little bit. Get the curiosity churnin, the interest piqued if you will!
I very much enjoy going down production rabbit holes, listening/reading to crew stories, watching as much BTS content as I can because I always learn/discover gold nuggets of cinema history…… This is a prime example
It is also a prime example of the game ‘The 6 degrees of Kevin Bacon’ (Great game if you haven’t played it before), because looking back it is always keen drawing the lines and connections between people and their collaborations. Nonetheless this is a clever and random connection between two drastically different franchises with drastically different narratives. This link may be their only thing in common!

In doing some research for this video I also came across a few other interesting tidbits, which I’ll be sharing in future installments about the Mighty Morphin Power Rangers (can’t have ya getting burned out on too much MMPR afterall). So look out for 2-3 more in the coming months, because this show was definitely a guilty pleasure growing up….. In my timeline, before there was MORTAL KOMBAT there we teenagers w/ attitude and those teenagers were MIGHT MORPHIN (maybe sometimes Ninja Turtles, lets be honest)
