I really enjoy doing these DUAL posts…..for a few reasons
1. I am always reading and searching and combing the internet for interesting tidbits
2. I enjoy sharing the things I enjoy reading
3. Its a good excuse to throw info your way

#1.The perfect place to live…..where nobody lives
Up until the middle of the 19th century, Lítla Dímun sheep ruled the little green haven. It’s believed these black, short-tailed feral sheep were the descendants of the animals brought to the area during the Neolithic era. But after the last of these rare creatures was shot in the 1800s, rendering the bloodline extinct, the island became home to domesticated Faroes sheep. Every fall, farmers head to Lítla Dímun, scale its slick cliffs, and round up the sheep to bring them back to the main islands.
This is the smallest of the 18 Islands in the Faroe Islands….look at er’ . Cute, isolated, serene, even with its own cloud! This is just a fun BS article that is insightful and personal. The world is filled with small places like this. Check em out!
2026 EDIT: I don’t exactly KNOW per se where past me was going with this guy…..but future me who REDISCOVERED HIM has gained a super interest in his endeavors. My guy invents USELESS STUFF which is friggin GREAT! It’s scientific ANARCHY in a world where people always expect efficiency. I think there’s a creative NICHE to this kind of engineering, and after all…. the best reason to do ANYTHING is always: Because I wanted to. So this is the creative editing on my part…turning an abandoned and forgotten article into something of 2026 substance (plus my writing has kinda sorta slightly improved since then….or at least that’s what I tell myself). So now we have unbroken links, an expanded narrative and IMAGES (wooooooo)

Literally…..That’s the opening paragraph, and it isn’t wrong. This guy is Brilliant, his niche is obviously solving problems we didn’t know we had, but it’s the tongue and cheek charm of HOW Matt goes about doing it that I fell in love with. there’s a buncha stuff here…more than you’d expect
