Yep….. I had to do this. Saw the movie yesterday and shot this IMMEDIATELY after getting home. HAd to wait to edit it but the delay wasn’t too too long. What a great memorial day Weekend and what a great day today is hsaping up to be as well! HUZZAH! Star Wars is bakk baybay and I’m here for it. What’s even better is that this movie introduces my next generation to the universe of a ‘GALAXY FAR FAR AWAY‘. so awesome…… so let’s get to it I suppose.

After years of adventures across the galaxy, Din Djarin and Grogu make the jump from streamingon Disney+ to lining the Silver screen in ‘The Mandalorian & Grogu’. Set after the events of Season 3 of the series, the film follows our unlikely father-and-son duo as they become entangled in new galactic drama….. Drama that threatens the fragile balance of the New Republic. Atr this point in time Mando is doing much oif the same as he continues his life as a bounty hunter and protector, while Grogu is sliding into his partner-in-crime role and grows stronger in his connection to the Force, creating new opportunities for them as they travel the galaxy far far away.
Star Wars is bakk!
What everybody thought was going to be a soulless cash grab actually turns out to be a decent stand alone adventure for the Star Wars universe. I think what makes ‘The Mandalorian & Grogu‘ especially exciting is that it represents the next major chapter in Star Wars storytelling while not being a story that’s too big or too small in scope. The film builds upon the foundation established by Disney+ series while also bringing STAR WARS back to theaters (seeing how The Rise of Skywalker was our last glimpse at SW on the big screen).
This movie had a lot of potential to be horrible and the review embargo gave me zero faith it would be but now that its out……Fans are eager to see how Grogu’s abilities evolve, what new threats await Din Djarin, and how their relationship continues to develop. I was pleasantly surprised at the quality of this movie and also super excited to be able to share it with my whole family (my wife, and kids came along for the ride and too had a blast)
