Ok now, but seriously, The new trailer dropped yesterday AND. IT. IS. BEAUTIFUL. A lot of people are saying the same thing (pun?) though– Is it too little too late?
I personally say no……………..If Jurrasic Park gets a second chance like 5 times, why cant we give the F4 another shot (Which if you’re paying attention is the…..let’s do the math here…. Roger Cormen……. Jessica Alba…….. That atrocious Miles Teller reboot…… makes the 4TH (haha ok that’s funny) attempt of making these movies…….dare I say….. FANTASTIC (wakka wakka). I’m genuinely curious to see how this and THUNDERBOLTS fits into the grand scheme of the MCU. There’s defintiely some naysaying but what else is new
I personally love the tone, it’s got that 1960s Cold war era/Hopefully without the segregation and femanine suppresive overtones in it and that time was a time of wonder for our culture (oppression too…..yes….. but the COLD WAR space race fuelded the imaginations that galvanized a generation to dream about tomorrow, the future, and possibility in general). I really hope they don’t do Galactic DIRTY either, they better freaking not……no GD cloud this time or we riot. Nah, I wanna see a menacing but cosmically indifferent GALACTUS. Because he isn’t typically inherently evil but a tragic hero in a sense and I wonder how they will translate THAT into the story. Either way though….enjoy!

I LOVED THIS TRAILER. Have past FF movis had issues? Yes (F*** yes to be specific). Did every version take a huge dookie on Marvel’s first family? ….yes. Did Human torch want Cassandra Nova to lick his GD “cinnamon ring clean and kick rocks all the way to bald he double hockey sticks? yuuuuuuuuup. But still, I very much enjoy the hope and optimism vibes this trailer has. Marvel has been messing with the formula for making a good Fantastic Four movie for years now (ever since they bought
fox) and did not want to rush it, mad respect tot hem on that. The thing is comic accurate (down to the trenchoat), the casting is excellent, GALACTUS isn’t a cloud…… I mean things are lookin good this time around. There are also rumors that this guy may make an appearance/cameo seeing how they’re setting him up as the next big threat:
